Our History with 1269
Twelve on Union was one of our initial benefactors of The Pinnacle Foundation. Ask people around Manchester who are directly impacting and assisting the chronically homeless of Manchester. They will undoubtedly mention Mary and Craig Chevalier, who head up the 1269 Café, and Twelve on Union.
For the last 13 years, the Chevaliers have run the faith-based community outreach center. 1269 offers daily meals, showers, clothing, toiletries, and Sunday services. They also provide a day and overnight Winter Warming Station throughout the winter and most recently started housing residents on their upper floors.
Last year, The Pinnacle Foundation donated the funds to purchase 14 Fema-grade cots for their overnight Warming Station for the homeless they served.
This year we were able to fund the expansion project of their interim housing units located on the second floor. The check for $15,000 was given to Twelve on Union to secure the furnishings for all seven units, which are being built out as we speak. Our donors did this. and we thank you all for your support!
